DAVID SNYDER - Co Founder
Dave Snyder is the Co-Founder of the search and social media marketing firm, Search & Social. He shares his opinions as well as tips on search and social media at various industry blogs including SearchEngineJournal.com and MarketingPilgrim.com. Dave parlayed his gifts as a teacher and published writer into his current career as an Internet Marketer. He is also the founder of IMBroadcast.com, the first UGC video site for Internet Marketers.
Dave's strengths lie in both organic and paid search marketing, as well as utilizing social media for brand building and online reputation management.
JORDAN KASTELER (a.k.a. UTAH SEO PRO) - Co Founder
Jordan Kasteler a.k.a. Utah SEO Pro has been avidly involved in organic SEO since 2001. He is also a fore-runner in embracing social media. He has worked in-house at Overstock.com, for an SEO agency, but now is the co-founder of Search & Social. He is also actively involved in the community and co-hosts mini Internet marketing events with Loren Baker and Dave Snyder and provides a community for Internet marketers to share video at IMbroadcast.com.
Loren Baker - Co Founder
Loren Baker has been actively involved in SEO and online marketing for over a decade, is the founder and Editor of Search Engine Journal, and has been recognized by Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, AdAge and NPR as a top industry expert on search marketing.
Mr. Baker has worked as a search engine optimization consultant for various clients including two national US banks, various technology and search engine start-ups, Sequoia Capital funded finance companies, major US media and consumer magazines and the largest home improvement companies in the US.
Mr. Baker's SEO background is quite diverse, working with everything from schools & non-profits to large financial firms. His expertise lies in on-site SEO, copywriting, link building, social media and of course, establishing targeted traffic and enhanced search rankings.
ANN SMARTY - Director Of Media
Ann Smarty is an SEO specialist and social media enthusiast. She has been actively involved in Internet marketing since 2003 year but only became known in SEO community in 2007 when she started her own SEO blog SEOsmarty.com. Ann's specialty is viral content, blog promotion and community building.
CAROLYN SHELBY - Director of Technology
Carolyn Shelby has been involved in Internet technology since 1994 when
she was the managing partner of an Internet Service Provider start-up
near Purdue University. She has been professionally designing and
developing Web sites for businesses and not-for-profit groups of all
sizes since 1995. She is an advocate of holistic SEO, and specializes in
rehabbing underperforming/out-dated Web sites and helping larger
corporations adjust their structure and focus to make the most of new media.
Carolyn is a regular speaker at search industry conferences and also co-hosts the popular weekly "SEO 101" podcast. Additionally, Carolyn has written about search industry news, social media and technology for a number of online journals, including Search Engine Journal and Search Engine Roundtable.
WILLIAM ATKIN - SEO Analyst
William Atkin has been actively involved in internet marketing and content development for clients across many different industries. William has managed the SEO and content requirements for clients as a manager at a dedicated SEO firm. In addition to being deeply passionate about organic SEO, William has a breadth of knowledge in website conversion, ecommerce, branding and user behavior from his experience as an internet business owner.William also has extensive knowledge in blog creation and promotion. He has created many sucessful blogs from scratch, including creating the design, optimizing the blog, creating content and developing and executing a promotion strategy.
RYAN SAMMY - SEO/Social Media Analyst
Ryan Sammy has been involved in search engine marketing for the past few years in a variety of industries ranging from pet care to finance to summer camps. He is a well-rounded SEO with
experience in organic SEO, PPC management, local SEO, social media marketing, content creation, link building, blog management, and conversion optimization. His experiences also include graphic design, web development, and IT. Ryan is an active member of many social media communities, and has worked to understand the intricacies of social interaction and engagement from the inside out.
